Checking the loop and base

Remove the loop amplifier by turning it anti-clockwise until it comes away from the main body.

Check between the main body and loop for any obstructions.

Lower the loop amplifier onto the main body, aligning the arrows. Once aligned, turn the loop amplifier clockwise to lock. Ensuring no gaps.

Retest the machine.

Check the remote battery

Unscrew the remote control's battery compartment.

Loosen the base and pull it away from the remote.

Replace the battery with type CR 2032.

Paper test

Turn the airflow control to maximum.

Hold a sheet of newspaper approximately 4 meters (13') away from the product.

The paper should lift beyond 45°.

Does the newspaper lift beyond 45 degrees?

Assemble your Dyson

Lower the main body assembly onto the base, aligning the arrows. Once aligned, turn the main body assembly clockwise to lock.

Lower the loop amplifier onto the base, aligning the arrows.Once aligned, turn the loop amplifier clockwise to lock.

The remote control can be magnetically attatched faced down to the top of the loop.

How to use the machine controls

Press the Standby button on the appliance to turn ON/OFF.

Use the middle control toggle to adjust the speed of the airflow.

Press the oscillation button to start and stop the fan turning.

The serial number can be found on the base of the machine.

Power

To operate, point the remote control toward the front of the base and press the standby ON/OFF button. Alternatively press the standby ON/OFF button on the main body.

Oscillation

Toggle oscillation on or off with the remote.

Airflow

Airflow can be set by the airflow buttons on the remote.

Airflow can also be set on the machine. Use the middle control toggle to adjust the speed of the airflow.

Attach the remote control to the top of the appliance with the buttons facing down.

Line up the arrows before fitting the loop amplifier.

Twist the loop clockwise until it clicks into place.

Is the loop now attached?

Assemble the machine

Check the opening of the main body and the loop amplifier for obstructons and remove as necessary.

Try to fit the loop again.
