After an easy unboxing and set up of the filters for the Dyson purifier cool autoreact was ready to go. The bold, contemporary look was something that drew me to this model. It stands talk and sleek but has a small footprint. This made for easy placement in my home. After finding the remote (remember to read instruction to locate remote) i found it convenient to use. The ability to place the remote on top of the machine by magnet is a great added touch. The options for this model are easy to use and provides the instant read technology that I have come to depend on with Dyson. The fan itself (cooling) works very well and has many degrees of circulation or a standstill option. The fan on low is calming and soothing. For the hot days on the coast the highest setting is loud but packs a punch with the actual air circulation. The old days of blades on a fan are long gone and replaced with excellent airflow through this technology. A huge added benefit for this machine is not having blades. We have an autistic child that have no safety boundaries. We finally have a way to stay cool and safe!! The air purifier gave a digital read and alerted you to the cleaning abilities of the model. The hepa filters captured the impurities and are made out of recycled product a plus for my taste. I will certainly keep my old purifier for the basement and replace it with this Dyson for year round enjoyment.

What’s new about the Dyson purifier range and how is it different from other purifiers?

Dyson engineers are perfectionists. Channelling our relentless dissatisfaction, we have re-engineered our latest’s purifiers to be fully sealed to HEPA H13 standard. Capturing 99.95% of ultrafine particles and preventing pollutants from leaking back into the air you breathe.

What is HEPA H13?

HEPA grades refer to filter efficiency at a certain particle size. HEPA H13 is a filter with a 99.95% removal efficiency of particles down to 0.1 microns per liter of air. Dyson filters also capture 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size including common pollutants such as allergens, bacteria, viruses, pollen, and mold spores.

How often should I replace my filter?

We recommend replacing the HEPA+Carbon filter roughly every 12 months, depending on how often you use it. That’s because over time filters can become clogged with pollutants and even let unpleasant odors back into the room. The machine will alert you when it’s time to change filters. A filter life reading can be found on the LCD screen.

What is the cooling functionality of the Dyson TP7A? Is it an air conditioner?

No, the Dyson TP7A can serve as a fan, which can help cool you. It is not an air conditioner.
