The Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer 23.75 karat gold features real gold leaf, applied by hand using traditional gilding techniques. The gold leaf is delicate and should be treated with care. Through use, some of the red base color may become visible beneath through the gold. This is intentional and should not be considered a defect, but rather something that makes each hair dryer unique to its owner.
Please follow our simple care tips, to help maintain the finish of your Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer 23.75 karat gold.
- Please use the supplied non-slip mat when placing your hair dryer onto a surface. Always store with the gold facing upwards.
- Avoid using any abrasive cleaning products. To clean your hair dryer, simply wipe it down with a lint-free cloth, taking extra care around the gold end cap area.
- Avoid excess rubbing of the gold face. Gold leaf is a delicate material and this product may wear over time.
- Always store your hair dryer in the supplied presentation case.

The Flyaway attachment should be used only on dry and straight hair or hair that’s been straightened.
Hold the attachment at the top of your head until your hair is attracted to it. Then slowly run it down the length of your hair without pressing down on it.
To maintain optimum performance, your Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer needs regular care and maintenance. We recommend cleaning the filter once a month. Debris should be wiped from the outer filter cage and from the inner filter mesh using a soft, dry cloth.
Yes, new attachments are fully compatible with older versions of Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryers.
In salon environments filters can clog more quickly with hairspray, so it’s therefore best to purchase a Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer Professional edition where the filter has been designed to meet the needs of a busy salon. The consumer warranty doesn’t cover use in commercial environments or if it’s used for 2+ hours a day.
The voltage is 110-120V in the US. Your hair dryer has been precisely engineered for fast drying and styling at the voltage of the country in which it was purchased. As voltage varies from country to country, please follow the guidance on usage in the guarantee section of your user manual.
