How does the Dyson Spot+Scrub™ Ai wet and dry robot vacuum work?

Using green LED light and an Ai camera, the Dyson Spot+Scrub™ Ai wet and dry robot vacuum detects hidden stains and adapts its cleaning in real time. It recleans until the stain is gone.

It recognizes up to 190 object types to navigate intelligently and avoid missed areas. When a spill is detected, it performs a targeted scrubbing motion and verifies stain removal using multiple image checks.

You can also trigger a ‘Targeted clean’ using the MyDyson™ app. After cleaning, the ‘Activity history’ shows where it’s been and what it encountered.

Can the Dyson Spot+Scrub™ Ai wet and dry robot vacuum clean all floor types?

Yes. The brush bar is engineered for both carpets and hard floors. The wet roller washes all hard floor types. On carpets, suction is automatically increased 4 times based on auto mode, for a deeper clean – removing microscopic dirt and debris as small as allergens and pet dander.

How does the Dyson Spot+Scrub™ Ai wet and dry robot vacuum clean edges and corners?

Its self-cleaning microfiber wet roller cleans itself every time it rotates, so hard floors are continually washed with fresh water and a clean roller. The roller mechanism automatically extends 1.5in. to clean right up to skirting boards and into corners – tackling the areas where dirt often builds up.

What is the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene?

The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene is a wet and dry hard floor cleaner engineered to remove dry debris and wet mess simultaneously, delivering a clean and even floor finish.

Do I need to vacuum before using the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene?

No pre-vacuuming required. The ultra-absorbent microfiber roller captures both dry and wet mess in one go. Hook-like filaments lift dust and dirt, while capillary action draws up liquid waste efficiently.

How is the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene’s waste system different?

Unlike traditional wet floor cleaners that store dirty water in a body-mounted tank, Dyson’s all-in-one waste system is located in the cleaner head. This design prevents dirt from travelling through the machine, reducing clogging and maintaining long-term performance. It also automatically separates dry and wet waste for fast, hygienic disposal.

Does the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene clean itself?

Yes. The mangle removes wet and dry debris from the roller with each rotation, before it’s evenly hydrated with fresh, clean water. For post-use cleans, it features a self-cleaning function that minimizes manual maintenance. Paired with the Hot-air drying dock, the roller is then dried using 185°F air to prevent bacterial growth and odors.
