User Generated Content Terms and conditions
Dyson Technology Limited (‘Dyson’) reaches out to social media users to seek their permission for Dyson and any member for the Dyson Group to use and display their favourite social media content (the ‘Post’) in any media for all and any lawful commercial purposes on its internal and external production, marketing, advertising, distribution, promotion, and sales materials of Dyson products including: social media accounts, blogs, websites and digital displays (the ‘Purpose’). You are reading this because Dyson has requested your permission to use your Post in this way.
Dyson became aware of your Post because your social media account is set to public and our Social Media Team monitors social media activity for content associated with Dyson branded hashtags such as #dysonhair or #mydyson.
By responding #YesDysonPhoto you hereby certify: a) I am solely responsible for the content of my Post and I own all rights to the content that sits within said Post and have obtained appropriate rights and permissions from any and all other persons and/or entities who own, manage or otherwise claim any rights with respect to such Post; and b) I am over 18 years of age.
By responding #YesDysonPhoto you additionally agree to these Terms of Use and grant Dyson the right to:
- Use your Post for the Purpose only;
- Store your Post and social media username in accordance with these Terms of Use. Dyson will store your Post and username for no longer than is necessary in accordance with our global privacy policy;
- Edit your Post or publish edited or partial versions of your Post, provided that Dyson shall not edit the Post in such a way as to create a misleading impression of your views;
- Display your social media username alongside the Post to identify the creator of the Post; and
- A non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual right and licence without compensation to use your Post for the Purpose.

You may subsequently request that Dyson removes your Post from Dyson marketing and promotional materials. Please get in touch with social-media@dyson.com. Dyson will then remove your Post as soon as possible.
By responding #No your Post will not be used at all by Dyson and Dyson will not contact you again about that same Post.

Dyson reserves the right to alter these Terms of Use without advance notice by posting the revised Terms of Use. You should review the Terms of Use each time you grant permission or authorisation to use your Post.
