The Dyson HushJet™ compact purifier is a powerful, dedicated compact or small-format air purifier that can purify rooms up to 203 sq ft.

Particulate sensing (the sensing of small airborne particles) is accomplished using an infrared laser to produce an accurate measurement of particles like PM2.5 and PM10 in the air. An integrated sensor system interacts with a unique algorithm for precise air quality monitoring, day and night.

Electrostatic media has a significantly lower resistance than traditional medias, which means you don’t need to use as much filter material, so they are lighter and more energy efficient. This is achieved by using a more open or porous media, one that uses electrostatic charge to enhance the single-pass efficiency, without clogging. By charging the electrostatic filter, particulates are pulled towards the media threads and stick to them like magnets.

No, our 360° Electrostatic filter in the Dyson HushJet™ compact purifier is passive (non-powered) and made from synthetic fibres which naturally hold static charges.

Our 360° Electrostatic filter has a 99.97% removal efficiency for particles as small as 0.3 microns.⁰ This includes common household pollutants such as dust, allergens* pet dander and pollen. 

Our 360° Activated Carbon Gas+Odor filter removes gases and odours, such as cooking and pet odous.²⁰ One common indoor pollutant captured by our Activated Carbon filter is nitrogen dioxide, which can be produced by gas appliances, open flames, wood burning stoves and tobacco smoke. Tris-impregnated carbon granules inside our Activated Carbon filter also capture other potentially harmful gases.
