Select diffused mode and the AM09 Hot+Cool™ fan heater projects powerful airflow for both wide and long-range heat distribution. So unlike others, it heats the room quickly and evenly.
A powerful jet of air is released from the back aperture. As the two jets meet, air is guided over a ramp at a 45 degree angle, releasing a wide stream of powerful airflow.
Select focused mode and the AM09 Hot+Cool™ fan heater channels and directs a powerful jet of air for long-range personal heating and cooling. No more sitting in front of the fan or heater.
Warm air is accelerated through a 2.5mm aperture and over an airfoil shaped ramp. It is redirected by the focus ramp, which projects a powerful stream of warm air towards you.
In cooling mode, the AM09 Hot+Cool™ fan heater draws in 7 gallons of air per second, keeping you cool with powerful airflow. It’s effective all year round. So, unlike others, you’ll never need to put it away.
Use in conjunction with air conditioning to circulate cold air around the room further and faster.
In an echo-free room, 10 microphones were arranged to measure sound power levels. Recording devices were used to study sound quality and pitch. Aero-acoustic rigs were also used to measure motor bucket sound and smoke was passed through the machine to identify and visualize airflow turbulence that was captured by high speed cameras.
Using an intelligent thermostat, the AM09 Hot+Cool™ fan heater maintains your target temperature in heat mode while you sleep. Or you can set it to turn off using the built-in sleep timer. It’s the only fan heater with the Quiet Mark award – so it won’t keep you awake.Quiet Mark awarded by the Noise Abatement Society for improved sound quality.
Intelligent thermostat monitors the room to reach, and unlike some others, maintains the selected temperature in heat mode – no wasted energy.
The AM09 Hot+Cool™ fan heater has no exposed heating elements - so there's no burning smell. It has an automatic cutout if tipped over and Air Multiplier™ technology, meaning no visible spinning blades.
No fast-spinning blades or visible heating elements. And it automatically cuts out if it’s tipped over.
