How to use
The dock is where your Dyson 360 Eye™ robot starts and
finishes its cleaning sessions, and recharges its battery. Selecting
the right location for the dock will help optimize your robot’s performance.
Well-lit, clutter-free areas work best – offering your robot clear sight of its dock.
Once you’ve found a suitable spot, find out how to set it up below.
1. Open the dock and place it against a wall.
2. Plug in the charging cord – it can fit in either side of the dock.
3. Tidy surplus cord away by winding it around the plug, and turn on the power.
Your robot should be placed on the dock with its clear bin facing the wall. When positioned correctly, the battery light on the robot’s power button will begin to pulsate to show it’s charging.
When the blue battery light turns solid, your robot is fully charged. Press the power button once to begin cleaning.
Low light levels can inhibit your robot’s navigational ability.
Large objects can obstruct your robot’s cleaning coverage.
Loose material can get tangled in your robot’s brush bar or its tank tracks.
Objects placed on or near steps, both above and below, can obscure drops from your robot’s detection sensors.
Moisture entering your robot through liquid spills can cause internal damage.
Captures a 360˚ image to detect features in the room.
Triangulates and establishes its relative position within the room.
Establishes a systematic cleaning pattern for the space.
When cleaning, your robot divides the space in your home into square segments before systematically cleaning each one in turn.
Your robot will seek to clean multiple rooms in your home unless you close internal doors – forming a wall.

The Dyson Link app allows you to register, control and schedule your robot. It can also automatically download updates for your robot’s software.
Controlled via the Dyson Link app, your robot now offers two suction power modes designed for different tasks – MAX mode for deep cleans, or Quiet mode for light cleaning that’s up to 35% quieter.To access cleaning mode settings via the Dyson Link app, you need app version 2.2 or later, and your robot must be running software version 11.1.1 or later.
The Dyson Link app is free. For iPhone, you can download it on the App Store. For Android™, you can get it on Google Play™.
When you first launch the Dyson Link app, you’ll be asked to sign in with your dyson.com account details. If you haven’t got an account, you can set one up.
You’ll need the name of your Wi-Fi network and its password. You’ll also need to know your robot’s code and its serial number.
The app will next guide you through the connection process. Once linked, you can control and monitor your Dyson 360 Eye™ robot even when you’re not at home.

The Link app can help with your robot’s regular maintenance, to keep its cleaning performance at the high standard it’s engineered to meet.
Our engineers are constantly refining Dyson 360 Eye™ robot technology.
To check you’re running the latest version, open the Dyson Link app and select your robot. Go to Settings → Software. This will tell you if you need to update.
Operating your Dyson robot when dirt is beyond the ‘MAX’ line on the clear bin will diminish cleaning performance – so make sure you empty the bin regularly.
Ensure that you perform regular visual checks of your robot’s brush bar – removing it to clean tangled hair and debris away when necessary.
Should your robot encounter any problems, it will display a pattern of red lights on its power button. If you see any of these error lights, visit our online support center for advice on solving your issue.
