Dyson kills it.

Dyson’s new humidifier kills 99.9% of bacteria in the water with Ultraviolet Cleanse technology, exposing every drop of water to a UVC light. It projects clean, hydrated air around the room evenly and quietly.

Other humidifiers can breed bacteria.

Some ultrasonic humidifiers can emit over 280 counts of bacteria within 2 minutes of turning the machine on. Others evaporate water directly from a wet wick and can harbor bacteria.

Ultraviolet Cleanse technology

Before releasing any mist, Ultraviolet Cleanse technology uses a three minute cycle to kill 99.9% of bacteria in the water tank. Every drop of water is exposed to an ultraviolet light which ensures that any mist projected is always 99.9% bacteria free.

Even, whole room humidification

The Dyson humidifier uses Air Multiplier™ technology to project hygienic, humidified air quickly and quietly. It disperses mist evenly throughout a 172 square foot room.

Air Multiplier™ technology.

Air is drawn in through inlets at the base of the machine, passing over an intelligent thermostat and humidistat which accurately monitor the room's temperature and humidity. The hygienic mist is then released from one aperture while the air is accelerated through a second aperture. This draws in surrounding air to create a jet of powerful airflow, distributing 99.9% bacteria-free mist evenly throughout the room.
